As a network, our mission is to prevent, support, diagnose, and stand by people impacted by FASD and brain domain challenges similar to FASD.
What’s FASD? Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a diagnostic term used to describe impacts of the brain and body to individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol. FASD is a lifelong disability. Individuals with FASD may experience some degree of challenges in their daily living, and need support with motor skills, physical health, learning, memory, attention, communication, emotional regulation, and social skills.
The Willow Winds Support Network provides: Prevention and Awareness, Training and Education, Assessment and Diagnostics, and support for caregivers and individuals suspected and diagnosed with FASD and brain domain challenges similar to FASD. We provide WRaP 2.0 services for educators and In Reach services for justice facilities and youth organizations.
